چکیده
Turmeric (Curcuma longa) has been a famous root crop for its medicinal properties since pre-historical times. Lack of effective therapeutics most viral diseases, higher cost some antiviral therapies, and the emergence drug resistance are increasingly reported. Drug is predicted to be leading cause mortality globally by 2050, thus requiring intervention. The need natural compounds mitigate such as curcumin, calls further studies. Curcumin, primary curcuminoid compound, demonstrated broad activity an agent. Due overcome chemically synthesised drugs, best option improve adapt use agents. potential curcumin hindered solubility bioavailability. Recently, different techniques, preparation carbon quantum dots, have used activity. Therefore, current review aims assess curcumin’s benefits agent techniques Future will aid in mitigating including resistant strain, hence sustainability entire community. In this case, research innovation required bioavailability medical uses.

متن کاملNovel polymorphic microsatellite markers from turmeric, Curcuma longa L. (Zingiberaceae)
Twenty one polymorphic microsatellite loci were isolated and characterized from turmeric (Curcuma longa L.). These markers were screened across thirty accessions. The number of alleles observed for each locus ranged from two to eight with an average of 4.7 alleles per locus. The discrimination power of these markers ranged from 0.25 to 0.67 (average 0.6). The simple sequence repeat (SSR) marker...
