Estuarine Ichthyoplankton Studies – A Review

چکیده
Estuaries are nutrient-rich environments with a gradient of fresh to salt water. They support high primary productivity and an abundance zooplankton. used by many fish as nursery grounds because their environmental conditions provide abundant food for larval adult fish. Ichthyoplankton, which comprise eggs larvae, important the recruitment species. At present, there no systematic reviews on ichthyoplankton in estuaries from global perspective. Here, research over last 60 years (1951–2022) was reviewed, focusing three aspects: evaluation published studies, community structure, factors affecting structure. The results show that estuarine has increased, less than 1 article per year 1950s more 30 articles 2020s. keyword most commonly ‘community structure’ ‘dynamics’ word recently ‘climate change’. Regarding geographical distribution studies carried out ichthyoplankton, USA had (32.9% all studies), followed Australia (8.1%), South Africa (6.1%), Brazil (5.6%), Japan (5.1%), China (4.9%), Canada (4.8%), Portugal (4.8%). Salinity turbidity were main structure estuaries. Climate change indirectly affected changing spawning time, location, hatching time movement sites poleward advance showed consistent trend. In addition, development DNA barcoding techniques will be useful supplement traditional taxonomic methods identifying new opportunities taxonomy this field. Our review contributes broader understanding provides theoretical protection sustainable use fishery resources.

The Influence of Tidal Phase on Patterns of Ichthyoplankton Abundance in the Vicinity of an Estuarine Front, Botany Bay, Australia
The influence of oceanography on abundance patterns of ichthyoplankton was compared at different phases of the tide in the vicinity of an estuarine front in Botany Bay, Australia. Fronts were observed at high, ebb, low and flood tides, but the most conspicuous colour discontinuities were found on ebb and flood tides. Greatest differences in water density were found across the frontal region on ...
متن کاملA Lagrangian tool for modelling ichthyoplankton dynamics
Ichthyop is a free Java tool designed to study the effects of physical and biological factors on ichthyoplankton dynamics. It incorporates the most important processes involved in fish early life: spawning, movement, growth, mortality and recruitment. The tool uses as input time series of velocity, temperature and salinity fields archived from ROMS or MARS oceanic models. It runs with a user-fr...
متن کاملPharmacokinetic Studies on Oximes in Organophosphate Poisoning: A Mini Review
Organophosphate (OP) poisoning is one of the most common causes of poisoning in developing countries especially in Southeastern Asia. Poisoning with phosphorus-containing organic chemicals or OP compounds can be managed with antidotes like oximes which are potential reactivators of acetylcholinesterase (AChE). The efficacy of oxime therapy in OP poisoned patients mainly depends upon various fac...

During last years, a growing body of research has been conducted into mindfulness-based therapies. This review aimed to examine the impact of mindfulness-based interventions upon the Iranian. Therefore, in the literature reviews from 1391 to 1397, the mentioned treatment was the main one. Then, upon detailed investigation of the studies, some recommendations is offered in order to improve metho...
