چکیده
Aim: This study aimed to investigate the effect of luteal phase support (LPS) with estradiol in addition progesterone on pregnancy outcomes patients who underwent ovulation induction GnRH antagonist protocol vitro fertilization- intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF-ICSI).
Materials and Methods: retrospective was carried out at reproductive medicine center Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Medical Faculty. The enrolled 128 undergoing ICSI an for controlled ovarian hyperstimulation. Study group administered 7.8 mg transdermal (E2) daily LPS (n=64). Control only All women received 200 3x1 intravaginal 50 intramuscular per two days LPS. Blood samples were drawn 12 after embryo transfer β-hCG. If result is negative, treatment discontinued, if positive, discontinued continued until 10th week gestation. Pregnancy main endpoint.
Results: There no difference between groups terms biochemical pregnancy, clinical abortus ongoing rates.
Conclusion: In our study, use estrogen did not show any outcomes.

Evaluation of an optimal luteal phase support protocol in IVF.
SUBJECT Luteal phase support has been shown in the past to be an essential part of ovarian stimulation protocols, especially the long protocol. It could be shown that hCG is as effective as is progesterone for luteal phase support but hCG is accompanied by a higher rate of complications. METHODS Progesterone can be administered in several routes. The oral, intramuscular (i.m.) and vaginal rou...
متن کاملLuteal phase support after GnRH triggering in IVF cycles
Corespondență: Dr. Andreea Carp Velișcu e-mail: andreea_veliscu@ yahoo.com Introduction. The luteal phase in IVF stimulated cycles is very different from that in natural cycles, so is very important to mimic the perfect condition for pregnancy. Method. Since January 2015 until December 2015, we have 88 cycles in which the triggering was done with GnRH agonist. We performed an embriotransfer in ...
متن کاملAn update of luteal phase support in stimulated IVF cycles.
Stimulated IVF cycles are associated with luteal phase defect. In order to overcome this, different doses, durations and types of luteal phase support (LPS) have been evaluated. There is still no agreement regarding the optimal supplementation scheme. The aim of this paper is to assess the past and the current clinical practices of luteal supplementation in IVF. The databases of Medline and Pub...
متن کاملSerum estradiol and progesterone in the mid-luteal phase predict clinical pregnancy outcome in IVF/ICSI cycles.
In this prospective study, we tested the hypothesis if E2 and P serum levels significantly differ during the luteal phase following in vitro-fertilization/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF/ICSI) therapy in conception (CC) versus non-conception (NC) cycles, and their potential in the prediction of pregnancy at the earliest point in time. Serum was sampled from the day of embryo transfer (ET)...
متن کاملLuteal phase support post IVF: individualized early stop.
While the need for progesterone-based luteal phase support is well documented, the required treatment duration is not well established, and a practitioners' survey showed a wide range of empiric stopping points. It is suggested that an early stop can be based on assessing endogenous luteal activity on the day of pregnancy test. To examine this approach, data were retrospectively collected on 99...
