چکیده
The application of fiber-reinforced polymer bars is rapidly rising in concrete structures because corrosion resistance and high tensile strength. By contrast, reinforced with FRP illustrate less ductility brittle failure without warning than conventional steel bars. Hybrid the combination can simultaneously increase strength ductility. This paper aims to estimate effective moment inertia hybrid beams by using ANFIS Artificial Neural networks. A new equation has been proposed for attention importance calculating beams. considered effect elastic modulus reinforcement ratio on this parameter having GFRP AFRP presented based neural networks experimental data conducted other researchers simple calculate RC result shows that both soft computing models are highly precise compared data.

Prediction of effective moment of inertia for hybrid FRP-steel reinforced concrete beams using the genetic algorithm
Abstract: The use of Concrete beams reinforced with a combination of fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) and steel bars has increased dramatically in recent years, due to improvement in strength and flexural ductility simultaneously. In this paper, we proposed a new equation for estimating the effective moment of inertia of hybrid FRP-steel reinforced concrete (RC) beams on the basis of the...

concrete beams reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer (gfrp) bars exhibit large deflections and crack widths as compared with steel reinforced concrete beams due to the low modulus of elasticity of gfrp bars. different studies show that aci 318 equation for the effective moment of inertia ie does not predict deflection well for frp reinforced concrete beams. the purpose of this paper is...
متن کاملAn Equation for the Effective Moment of Inertia for Frp-reinforced Concrete Beams
The deflection of concrete beams reinforced with GFRP bars is higher than those which are reinforced with steel bars. The purpose of this paper is to propose a new equation for estimating the effective moment of inertia in FRP-reinforced concrete beams. This will be accomplished by using experimental results and the genetic algorithm approach. Genetic algorithm is used for optimizing the error ...
