Estimation of accumulated degree hours-based post-mortem intervals in mammalian and avian model

چکیده

The post-mortem interval (PMI) of a jungle cat (Felis chaus) and chicken (Gallus gallus domesticus) were estimated as mammalian an avian model, respectively. estimations performed adopting the Accumulated Degree Hours (ADH) method using blowfly, Lucilia sericata. required developmental time from oviposition to 3rd instar larvae blowfly species was considered for determination PMI in each study. results revealed that calculated 5.29 days. On other hand, 2.83 difference these two PMIs different models might be due variation temperatures related factors development species. This study offer new approach medico-legal investigations with view resolving homicide well suspected death animals including wildlife Bangladesh.
