چکیده
We investigate the dust attenuation in both stellar populations and ionized gas kpc-scale regions nearby galaxies, using integral field spectroscopy data from MaNGA MPL-9. identify star-forming (HII) diffuse (DIG) datacubes. From stacked spectrum of each region, we measure attenuation, $E(B-V)_{\rm star}$, technique developed by Li et al.(2020), as well gas}$, Balmer decrement. then examine correlation gas}-E(B-V)_{\rm star}$ star}/E(B-V)_{\rm gas}$ with 16 regional/global properties, for different $\rm H{\alpha}$ surface brightnesses ($\Sigma_{\rm H\alpha}$). find a stronger between higher $\Sigma_{\rm H\alpha}$. Luminosity-weighted age ($t_L$) is found to be property that most strongly correlated consequently gas}$. At fixed H\alpha}$, $\log_{10}t_L$ linearly negatively at all ages. Gas-phase metallicity ionization level are important gas. Our results indicate ionizing source DIG likely distributed outer-skirt while HII our can explained two-component model Charlot & Fall (2000).

Dense Star-forming Gas and Dust in the Magellanic Clouds
The early stages of the star formation process are closely related to the condition of the parent interstellar medium, in particular to the heating/cooling balance, which itself is a function of ambient conditions. Important questions such as dust abundance, size distribution, temperature distribution, fraction of molecular gas, fraction of dense gas, gas surface density and total amount of gas...
متن کاملProbing the Ism near Star Forming Regions with Grb Afterglow Spectroscopy: Gas, Metals, and Dust
We study the chemical abundances of the interstellar medium surrounding high z gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) through analysis of the damped Lyα systems (DLAs) identified in afterglow spectra. These GRB-DLAs are characterized by large H I column densities NHI and metallicities [M/H[ spanning 1/100 to nearly solar, with median [M/H[ > −1 dex. The majority of GRB-DLAs have [M/H[ values exceeding the cos...
متن کاملGas and Dust in Ultraluminous Galactic Nuclei
Millimeter-wave interferometry has clearly shown the existence of enormous masses (10 9 ?10 10 M) of molecular gas concentrated in the nuclear regions (R <500 pc) of many luminous and ultraluminous infrared galaxies. In these systems, molecular gas is an obvious source of fuel for nuclear starbursts and active galactic nuclei (AGN). In several ultraluminous systems (e.g., Arp 220 and Mrk 231), ...
متن کاملDust attenuation in the restframe ultraviolet : constraints from star – forming galaxies at z ∼ 1
A novel technique is employed for estimating attenuation curves in galaxies where only photometry and spectroscopic redshifts are available. This technique provides a powerful measure of particular extinction features such as the UV bump at 2175Å, which has been observed in environments ranging from the Milky Way to high–redshift star–forming galaxies. Knowledge of the typical strength of the U...
متن کاملCharacterizing Dust Attenuation in Local Star-forming Galaxies: Near-infrared Reddening and Normalization
We characterize the near-infrared (NIR) dust attenuation for a sample of ∼5500 local (z . 0.1) star-forming galaxies and obtain an estimate of their average total-to-selective attenuation k(λ). We utilize data from the United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) and the Two Micron All-Sky Survey (2MASS), which is combined with previously measured UV-optical data for these galaxies. The average at...
