چکیده

This study aimed to develop and validate nomograms predicting the survival of osteosarcoma patients from SEER database our hospital. Data 1,066 were randomly divided into a development cohort (n=800) validation one (n=266). Another 126 hospital was utilized as two. Univariate multivariate Cox analyses performed identify independent prognostic factors for overall (OS) cancer-specific (CSS). Nomograms 3- 5-year OS CSS probability constructed validated. The predictive performances established evaluated by concordance index (C-index) calibration plot. Variables age, surgical stage, surgery, grade, tumor site, size identified prognosticators in analyses. C-indexes 0.818 0.829. Comparatively, 0.843 0.834, 0.736 0.782 two, respectively. Calibration plots showed excellent consistency between nomogram prediction actual survival. based on are high accuracy can serve reliable tool individualized consultation patients.

Nomograms to estimate long-term overall survival and breast cancer-specific survival of patients with luminal breast cancer

Luminal breast cancer constitutes a group of highly heterogeneous diseases with a sustained high risk of late recurrence. We aimed to develop comprehensive and practical nomograms to better estimate the long-term survival of luminal breast cancer.Patients with luminal breast cancer diagnosed between 1990 and 2006 were retrieved from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) databas...

Nomograms to estimate long‐term overall survival and tongue cancer‐specific survival of patients with tongue squamous cell carcinoma

The aim of this study was to construct nomograms to predict long-term overall survival (OS) and tongue cancer-specific survival (TCSS) of tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) patients based on clinical and tumor characteristics. Clinical, tumor, and treatment characteristics of 12,674 patients diagnosed with TSCC between 2004 and 2013 were collected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End...

Nomograms to Predict the Disease-free Survival and Overall Survival after Radiofrequency Ablation for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

Objective The purpose of this study was to construct nomograms for the disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) of post-radiofrequency ablation (RFA) patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Furthermore, we compared the prognostic predictive ability of these nomograms for estimating per-patient outcomes with that of traditional staging systems. Methods We retrospectively enrol...

Nomograms predicting long-term overall survival and cancer-specific survival in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma patients

This study aimed to develop nomograms to predict long-term overall survival and cancer-specific survival in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). We conducted prognostic analyses and developed nomograms predicting survival outcome using HNSCC patient data collected from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) program of the National Cancer Institute. An exte...
