This study followed Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews. search conducted four databases: LILACS, PubMed, Science Direct, and Scopus until June 5th, 2020, with no time or language restrictions. Sixty out 1,333 initially gathered studies fit inclusion criteria after selection process. Nine Cordiawere reported in selected studies, which 79% evaluated Cordia curassavica. extraction methods identified were hydrodistillation steam distillation. As biological application, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, larvicidal antioxidant activities most reported. main compounds β-caryophyllene, α-humulene, α-pinene, bicyclogermacrene, sabinene. information can contribute scientifically recognition importance
