Orphenadrinium picrate picric acid

The asymmetric unit of the title compound N,N-dimethyl-2-[(2-methyl-phen-yl)phenyl-meth-oxy]ethanaminium picrate picric acid, C(18)H(24)NO(+)·C(6)H(2)N(3)O(7) (-)·C(6)H(3)N(3)O(7), contains one orphenadrinium cation, one picrate anion and one picric acid mol-ecule. In the orphenadrine cation, the two aromatic rings form a dihedral angle of 70.30 (7)°. There is an intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen ...

Benzamide–picric acid (1/1)

In the title compound, C(7)H(7)NO·C(6)H(3)N(3)O(7), one of the nitro groups of the picric acid mol-ecule lies in the plane of the attached benzene ring [dihedral angle = 1.4 (1)°] while the other two are twisted away by 9.9 (1) and 30.3 (1)°. In the benzamide mol-ecule, the amide group is almost coplanar with the benzene ring [dihedral angle = 4.4 (1)°]. An intra-molecular O-H⋯O hydrogen bond g...

Picric acid–2,4,6-trichloroaniline (1/1)

In the title adduct, C(6)H(4)Cl(3)N·C(6)H(3)N(3)O(7), the two benzene rings are almost coplanar, with a dihedral angle of 1.19 (1)° and an inter-ring centroid-centroid separation of 4.816 (2) Å. The crystal structure is stabilized by inter-molecular N-H⋯O(nitro) hydrogen bonds, giving a chain structure. In addition, there are phenol-nitro O-H⋯O inter-actions.

4-Nitroaniline–picric acid (2/1)

In the title adduct, C(6)H(3)N(3)O(7)·0.5C(6)H(6)N(2)O(2), the complete 4-nitro-aniline mol-ecule is generated by a crystallographic twofold axis with two C atoms and two N atoms lying on the axis. The mol-ecular components are linked into two dimensional corrugated layers running parallel to the (001) plane by a combination of inter-molecular N-H⋯O and C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds. The phenolic oxygen...

saturated picric acid prevents autophagia

the dysesthesia and paresthesia that occurs in laboratory rats after spinal cord injury (sci) results in autophagia. this self-destructive behavior interferes with functional assessments in designed studies and jeopardizes the health of the injured rat. in this study, we evaluated role of saturated picric acid in the prevention of autophagia and self-mutilation. all rats were anesthetized with ...
