Epistemological Considerations of Text Mining: Implications for Systematic Literature Review

In the era of big data, capacity to produce textual documents is increasing day by day. Our ability generate large amounts information has impacted our lives at both individual and societal levels. Science not escaped this evolution either, it often difficult quickly reliably “stand on shoulders giants”. Text mining presented as a promising mathematical solution. However, yet convinced qualitative analysts who are usually wary calculation. For reason, article proposes rethink epistemological principles text mining, returning analysis its meaning structure. It presents alternatives, applicable process constructing lexical matrices for complex corpus. At same time, need new multivariate algorithms capable integrating these discussed. We take practical example in use means Multivariate Analysis Variance Biplot (MANOVA-Biplot) when carrying out systematic review literature.
