Epidemiological and histological study of cutaneous leishmaniasis in humans in Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf governorate

The current study, which was conducted during the period from 1 | 10 2020 to 30 12 2021 Examination of 318 people arriving at Al-Sadr Teaching Hospital, Al-Hakim Al-Manathera General Al- Haidariya Hospital and some health centres in governorate. A comparison has been made between rates cutaneous leishmaniasis infection centre governorate districts northern southern regions affiliated it, based on information form whom study samples were taken. results showed that number patients with reached 65 cases a rate ( 100 %) 253 injuries of(100%) for other skin diseases. highest recorded males (46) (70.8%) lowest females (29.2%). age group (20-11) years (22) (33.8), category (70-61) one inhavey, (1.5%).
