ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF SURFACE WATER QUALITY ZHYTOMYR POLESIE

The ecological assessment of the quality surface water Dnipro basin (within Zhytomyr region) is carried out. In general, rivers teter, rotten, Guiva, forest stone, Irsha, Human, Arpin, Rostavitsa and Kamyanka were investigated. study was conducted according to systematic observations based on classification estuates in Ukraine, which includes a set hydrophysical, hydrochemical, hydrobiological other indicators reflecting peculiarities components aqueous ecosystems. On basis unified criteria, technique allows you compare separate areas objects, objects different regions. calculation out within three blocks: block saline composition (I1), troph-sanitary (ecological-sanitary) (I2) specific substances toxic action (I3). results are presented form combined assessment, final conclusions blocks calculate integral index (IE). qualitative state Tetereva Basin, right tributaries Dnieper “Good”, “clean” (II class quality) here less than half (47%) all observation points. Such varnia, teter. 6% cases, “satisfactory”, “contaminated” (3,7 ≤ IE ≤5,4), namely: r. Teters, city Zhytomyr, 200 m above fall River Forest Kamenka, 100 Teter.
