Entrepreneurship Education as an Impetus to Entrepreneurial Competence and Entrepreneurial Intentions among Polytechnic Students: A Quantitative Approach

The study examined the extent to which entrepreneurship education influence entrepreneurial competence and intentions among students with specific reference Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Nigeria. Purposive random sampling technique was used select 85 final year from all three Departments (Business Administration Management, Marketing Purchasing supply) in Faculty of Management Studies. questionnaire employed collect data scales measuring education, competence, intentions. Mean, chi-square, Pearson Moment correlation ordinary least square (OLS) method estimation were analyse data. result revealed that has a significant effect on students. This implies is an antidote poverty, insecurity, unemployment hunger have been order day Consequently, stakeholders industry should endeavour ensure properly funded also Federal government establish financial institution will provide assistance advisory services graduates non-graduates pass through viable feasibility zeal establishing ventures.
