Entrepreneurship analysis in Spanish universities

Purpose Entrepreneurship requires the attitudes and capabilities needed to begin new innovative projects able create positive impacts in economy of a society. Given that it forms basis from which companies, products innovations emerge, is very relevant term business. With aim strengthening these capabilities, many universities are incorporating educational strategies into their curricula boost entrepreneurial intention business skills among students. This study aims determine factors intervene spirit students Spanish by examining areas study, different personal contextual characteristics, type training receive entrepreneurship. Design/methodology/approach Data collected 33,182 77 2018 edition Global University Entrepreneurial Spirit Students' Survey (GUESSS) examined an exhaustive univariate bivariate descriptive inferential analysis. Furthermore, relationship between index explicative variables modelled, basic random effect for area introduced detect differences at this level. Findings Economics, engineering health sciences presented higher than average indices. Regarding training, only voluntary education entrepreneurship influenced spirit, albeit not equally all study. Originality/value study’s results can help incorporate focusing resources where they most efficient.
