Enoxaparin-induced atraumatic acute compartment syndrome of the thigh: a case report

In this case, we present a case of atraumatic lateral compartment syndrome the thigh in patient undergoing anticoagulant treatment. The received high-dose low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) treatment due to diagnosis an ischemic cerebrovascular event and developed after LMWH injection into thigh; therefore, emergency fasciotomy was performed. After negative-pressure dressing monitoring, wound closed on sixth day discharged. No complication occurred during one-month follow-up. Compartment is rare, but potentially devastating. purpose current report highlight serious, routine procedure.
