Enhancement of specific surface area of CoFe2O4 powders synthesized by KCl-assisted solution combustion: effect of KCl content and initial pH

چکیده

In the present study, potassium chloride-assisted solution combustion method was used to synthesize cobalt ferrite nanoparticles. Potassium chloride salt as a specific surface enhancer and nitric acid an auxiliary oxidizer pH regulator. The simultaneous effect of initial amount added on area, structural, microstructural magnetic properties synthetic powders were studied. X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR), Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) at room temperature Brunnauer–Emmet–Teller (BET) for those purposes. results showed that had interaction area powders. Under optimal conditions, with high 87.77 m2g-1 successfully synthesized. Synthetic mesoporous microstructure hard behavior.
