Enhancement of second-order gravitational waves at Q-ball decay

چکیده
Abstract The recent observation of 4 He favors a large lepton asymmetry at the big bang nucleosynthesis. If Q-balls with charge decay after electroweak phase transition, such can be generated without producing too baryon asymmetry. In this scenario, dominate universe before and induces sharp transition from early matter-dominated era to radiation-dominated era. gravitational waves (GWs) are enhanced through second-order effect scalar perturbations. We evaluate density produced GWs show that pulsar timing array observations probe scenario depending on amplitude

Gravitational effective action at second order in curvature and gravitational waves
We consider the full effective theory for quantum gravity at second order in curvature including non-local terms. We show that the theory contains two new degrees of freedom beyond the massless graviton: namely a massive spin-2 ghost and a massive scalar field. Furthermore, we show that it is impossible to fine-tune the parameters of the effective action to eliminate completely the classical sp...
متن کاملHiggsino and Wino Dark Matter from Q-ball Decay
We claim that the Higgsino-like and wino-like neutralinos can be good dark matter candidates if they are produced by the late time decay of Q-ball. The late time decays of the Q-balls into these LSP’s and subsequent pair annihilations of the LSP’s naturally lead to the desired mass density of dark matter. Furthermore, these dark matter can be much more easily detected by the dark-matter search ...
متن کاملNonprecessional spin-orbit effects on gravitational waves from inspiraling compact binaries to second post-Newtonian order
We derive all second post-Newtonian ~2PN!, non-precessional effects of spin-orbit coupling on the gravitational waveforms emitted by an inspiraling binary composed of spinning, compact bodies in a quasicircular orbit. Previous post-Newtonian calculations of spin-orbit effects ~at 1.5PN order! relied on a fluid description of the spinning bodies. We simplify the calculations by introducing into ...
متن کاملErratum: Gravitational waves from inspiralling compact binaries: Energy loss and waveform to second-post-Newtonian order
Gravitational waves generated by inspiralling compact binaries are investigated to the second–post-Newtonian (2PN) approximation of general relativity. Using a recently developed 2PN-accurate wave generation formalism, we compute the gravitational waveform and associated energy loss rate from a binary system of point-masses moving on a quasi-circular orbit. The crucial new input is our computat...
متن کاملq-Karamata functions and second order q-difference equations
In this paper we introduce and study q-rapidly varying functions on the lattice q0 := {qk : k ∈ N0}, q > 1, which naturally extend the recently established concept of q-regularly varying functions. These types of functions together form the class of the so-called q-Karamata functions. The theory of q-Karamata functions is then applied to half-linear q-difference equations to get information abo...
