Medium pulse repetition frequency (MPRF) is an important mode in airborne radar system. Since MPRF brings both Doppler and range ambiguities, it causes difficulty for the to suppress ground or sea clutter. In recent years, has been pointed out that diverse array (FDA) capable of separating ambiguous clutter, which helpful detecting weak moving targets originally buried To further improve clutter separation performance, enhanced pre-STAP beamforming suppression proposed vertical FDA planar this paper. With consideration dependence spatial frequency, a series beamformers are designed using priori knowledge platform parameters. The notches aligned with extract echoes from desired region while suppressing regions. can be widened by covariance matrix tapering technique method performance limited degrees-of-freedom (DOFs). Simulation examples show effectiveness method.
