چکیده
Fe3O4 nanoparticles decorated on cellulose aerogel (CA) from banana stems (Fe3O4@CA) were synthesized for application in the Fenton degradation of p-nitrophenol (PNP). Cellulose extracted raw was with kymene as a crosslinking agent and freeze-dried method. The Fe3O4@CA samples characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Energy-dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Transmission Microscopy (TEM), photoelectron (XPS). different contents investigated yield PNP water. affect loaded content H2O2 concentration treatment efficiency also to suggest suitable values including catalyst CA 0.40 g/g 5.0 g/L. As results, reached removal 87.92% 100 mins obey pseudo-first kinetic model reaction rate constant 0.0301 min−1. This study’s finding provides method creating environmentally friendly catalytic material, which might be used green chemical engineering.

Enhanced degradation of gaseous benzene by a Fenton reaction
A wet scrubbing process coupled with advanced oxidation processes (AOP) has raised great interest for the abatement of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) owing to its strong oxidation capacity and few byproducts. Fenton as an AOP has been widely used in wastewater treatment. However, the dosing method of Fenton reagents is not suitable for the treatment of continuous-flow VOCs waste-gas since H2...
متن کاملHeterogeneous UV/Fenton degradation of TBBPA catalyzed by titanomagnetite: catalyst characterization, performance and degradation products.
Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA), a widely used brominated flame retardant, could negatively affect various aspects of mammalian and human physiology, which triggers effective techniques for its removal. In this work, the degradation characteristics of TBBPA in heterogeneous UV/Fenton reaction catalyzed by titanomagnetite (Fe(3-x)Ti(x)O₄) were studied. Batch tests were conducted to evaluate the ef...
متن کاملDegradation of crystal violet using copper modified iron oxide as heterogeneous photo-fenton reagent
The heterogeneous photo-Fenton degradation of crystal violet under visible light has been investigated usingcopper modified iron oxide. The photocatalyst has been prepared by coprecipitation method. The rate ofphotocatalyic degradation of dye was monitored spectrophotometrically. It has been observed thatphotocatalytic degradation follows pseudo first order kinetics. The effect of various param...
متن کاملDiesel Degradation in Soil by Fenton Process
متن کاملEnhancement of photocatalytic degradation of 4-nitrophenol by integrating Ag nanoparticles with ZnO/HZSM-5 nanocomposite
In this paper, Ag/ZnO/HZSM-5ternary nanocomposites with different Ag loadings were prepared by the photo precipitation method. The prepared photocatalysts were characterized by XRD, BET, SEM and TEM. The photocatalytic activity of ZnO/HZSM-5 for 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) degradation was increased by silver doping. Effects of various parameters such as the initial concentration of 4-NP, pH and Ag loa...
