English and Indonesian Nominalization: A Case of Word Classes

This research aims at determining the similarities, dissimilarities, and possible learning difficulties faced by students English Indonesian nominalization as well recommendations to TEFL. The qualitative design was applied. documentation technique used collect data. To analyze data, researchers a descriptive analysis. results showed that there were three similarities four dissimilarities between found. in suffixation, demonstrative pronominal conversion. While, affixation, Adjective reduplication, conversion To-infinitive. suffixation confixation which not very familiar with them. of this fundamental teaching guidance helping teachers better Grammar on (word classes), terms To-infinitive.
