This article explores the evolution, role and impact of Civil Society Support Room (CSSR), first formal mechanism to involve civil society in UN-led political talks for Syria. Through surveys, focus groups interviews, it examines how whether CSSR influenced peace process. Importantly, also illustrates transformed participants third-party mediators themselves, suggesting that shapes conflict peace-making landscape beyond high-level It argues had a transformative on both attitudes behavioural patterns while challenging dominant representations strengthen power actors shape international action.
