Energy-energy correlation in hadronic Higgs decays: analytic results and phenomenology at NLO

A bstract In this work we complete the investigation of recently introduced energy-energy correlation (EEC) function in hadronic Higgs decays at next-to-leading order (NLO) fixed-order perturbation theory limit vanishing light quark masses. The full analytic NLO result for previously unknown EEC H → $$ q\overline{q} q ¯ + X channel is given terms classical polylogarithms and cross-checked against a numerical calculation. addition to that, discuss further corrections predictions event shape variable, including mass corrections, effects parton shower hadronization. We also estimate statistical error on measurements future factories compare with current perturbative uncertainty.
