Energy Consumption and Carbon Emission Analysis of Typical Regeneration Methods for Asphalt Pavements

A quantitative evaluation was conducted on the energy consumption and carbon emissions during asphalt pavement regeneration process, emission ratios construction raw material production stages of cold hot process were obtained. This study applies theory life cycle assessment to propose an framework calculation method suitable for quantitatively evaluating environmental impact process. Firstly, based theory, applicable processes are discussed, formulae comprehensive derived. It is found that in account 50~70% total stage, 50~65% stage. Compared with milling resurfacing reduced by about 16~66%, 14~53%, so saving reduction benefits more significant. The amount RAP mixing, transportation distance materials depth have a great influence regeneration. can provide scientific guidance regeneration, view providing energy-saving level data support technology improvement engineering decisions.
