چکیده

Abstract Background Temporalis fascia and perichondrium are still the most successful graft materials for primary microscopic repair of tympanic membrane perforations worldwide with 80% to 90% success rate. However, minimally invasive surgery is becoming standard in many fields endoscope has been largely incorporated ear over past 10 years. This study aimed evaluate rate endoscopic transcanal closure perforation using Tutoplast® compared conventional post auricular approach homologous temporalis graft. Results Our was conducted on 50 patients, were equally divided into 2 groups. Group A patients have operated Tutoplast as a material. B through post-auricular approach. The take rate, pre- post-operative pure tone audiogram, operative time both uptake 100% mean ABG showed significant improvement In group A, 28.2 pre-operatively became 12.12 post-operatively. B, 29.72 then 15.2 Comparing between groups statistically difference p value 0.000496. We found average 48.08 min 69.4 0.049772295. Conclusions Endoscopic short-time procedure avoiding postauricular or endaural incisions shorter time.
