چکیده
Background: Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is the most common sleep breathing disorder. In OSA, interrupted by a blockage of airflow. Objective: This study was aimed to assess updated technique for endoscope-guided coblator tongue base reduction treatment patients with OSA. Patients and Methods: clinical trial included total 12 moderate severe attending at Department Otorhinolaryngology, Faculty Medicine, Zagazig University Hospital. conducted between April 2018 till August 2019. All studied underwent coblation retroglossal obstruction in combination other palatal and/or nasal surgeries multilevel protocol. The observed 30- degree angled, rigid endoscope (4 mm). Results: Male gender represents 75% patients. Age patient ranged from 38 54 years old mean age 44.83 (± 6.41), Oxygen desaturation index (preop.) 30.3 56.9, while ODI (postop.) 3.8 60.9. Conclusions: It could be concluded that guided endoscopy safe management obstructive apnea without any dangerous complications.
