Enantioselective Pd‐Catalyzed Allylic Substitution using Phosphite‐Oxazoline PHOX‐Based Ligands containing a Methylene Linker

Abstract High enantioselectivities (up to 99 %) and activities (TOF's up >4000 h −1 ) are accomplished in the Pd‐catalyzed allylic substitution of a wide range substrate types nucleophiles using family phosphite‐oxazoline ligands. These ligands were derived from PHOX ligand by exchanging phosphine moieties biaryl phosphites methylene spacer was introduced between oxazoline phenyl ring. The scope is due ability adapt their parameters reacting substrate. This also explains its high performance other type catalytic processes.

Iridium-catalyzed regio- and enantioselective allylic substitution of silyl dienolates derived from dioxinones.

Reported herein is the iridium-catalyzed regio- and enantioselective allylic substitution reactions of unstabilized silyl dienolates derived from dioxinones. Asymmetric allylic substitution of a variety of allylic trichloroethyl carbonates with these silyl dienolates gave γ-allylated products selectively in 60-84% yield and 90-98% ee.
