چکیده
Landslide run-out modeling involves various uncertainties originating from model input data. It is therefore desirable to assess the model's sensitivity. A global sensitivity analysis that capable of exploring entire space and accounts for all interactions, often remains limited due computational challenges resulting a large number necessary runs. We address this research gap by integrating Gaussian process emulation into landslide apply it open-source simulation tool r.avaflow. The feasibility efficiency our approach illustrated based on 2017 Bondo event. aggregated outputs, such as apparent friction angle, impact area, well spatially resolved maximum flow height velocity, dry-Coulomb coefficient, turbulent coefficient release volume are studied. results first-order effects consistent with previous common one-at-a-time analyses. In addition that, allows rigorously investigate interactions. Strong interactions detected margins path where expectation variation velocity small. generally become weak increasing velocity. Besides, there stronger between two coefficients than each coefficient. future, promising extend other computationally expensive tasks like uncertainty quantification, calibration, smart early warning.

Global sensitivity analysis of large-scale numerical landslide models based on Gaussian-Process meta-modeling
9 Large-scale landslide prediction is typically based on numerical modelling, with computer 10 codes generally involving a large number of input parameters. Addressing the influence of 11 each of them on the final result and providing a ranking procedure may be useful for risk 12 management purposes. This can be performed by a variance-based global sensitivity analysis. 13 Nevertheless, such an...

متن کاملANN-DEA Integrated Approach for Sensitivity Analysis in Efficiency Models
Here, we examine the capability of artificial neural networks (ANNs) in sensitivity analysis of the parameters of efficiency analysis model, namely data envelopment analysis (DEA). We are mainly interested to observe the required change of a group of parameters when another group goes under a managerial change, maintaining the score of the efficiency. In other words, this methodology provides a...

Windows TM Dam Analysis Modules (WinDAM) is a set of modular software components that can be used to analyze overtopped earthen embankments and internal erosion of embankment dams. These software components are being developed in stages. The initial computational modules address routing of floods through the reservoir with dam overtopping and evaluation of the potential for vegetation or riprap...
