Employee welfare and job satisfaction among non-academic staff of Universities in Ekiti State

This article examines the relationship existing between employee welfare and job satisfaction among non-academic staff of universities in Ekiti State. Its specific objectives are to examine housing facilities identify areas need focus on for their employees. The study is a correlational one as it seeks relationships variables. As result, only Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient was used alongside descriptive statistics like frequencies. Data collected with aid close-ended questionnaires from sample 384 State which derived using Cochran’s (1963) formula. Simple random sampling technique select members. Results show that moderately positive exists concludes an increase will cause corresponding satisfaction. further shows have very weak correlation recommends work-life balance, transportation occupational safety should be focused by universities.
