Emotion Recognition in Human–Robot Interaction Using the NAO Robot

Affective computing can be implemented across many fields in order to provide a unique experience by tailoring services and products according each person’s needs interests. More specifically, digital learning robotics education benefit from affective with redesign of the curriculum’s contents based on students’ emotions during teaching. This key feature is observed traditional methods, robot tutors are adapting it gradually. Following this trend, work focused creating game that aims raise environmental awareness using social NAO as conversation agent. quiz-like supports emotion recognition DeepFace, allowing users review their answers if negative detected. A version was tested real-life circumstances produced favorable results, both for analysis overall user enjoyment.
