Emissions Released by Forest Fuel in the Daxing’an Mountains, China

چکیده
The large amounts of emissions released by forest fires have a significant impact on the atmospheric environment, ecosystems, and human health. Revealing main components fuel under different combustion states is great importance to evaluate ecological environment. Here, self-designed biomass system was used simulate parts (i.e., branch, trunk, bark) five tree species branches, three layers surface dead litter layer, semi-humus humus layer) shrub species, in Daxing’an Mountains, Inner Mongolia. emission characteristics gas pollutants CO, CO2, HC, NOx) PM2.5 two smoldering flaming, along with correlation ratio among factors, were measured. results show that average trees from state are higher than those flaming state, while shows opposite. trees, shrubs, ordered high low as follows: CO2 > CO HC NOx PM2.5; NOx, indicating primary both conditions mainly due dependent state—flaming promotes PM2.5. bark, trunks Quercus mongolica significantly other four bark branch trunk. This study will help further understand environment ecosystems Northern China.

An Analysis of Fuel Demand and Carbon Emissions in China
Under the Kyoto Protocol to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, targets have been set for various developed countries to reduce their carbon emissions. China’s share of carbon emissions ranked the second highest in the world in 1996, only after the United States. Although China was not formally required to achieve a reduction in its carbon emissions under the protocol, pr...
متن کاملImpacts of Cwd on Understory Biodiversity in Forest Ecosystems in the Qinling Mountains, China
The stocks and characteristics of coarse woody debris (CWD) are expected to reflect forest stand features. However, despite their importance, there have been no reports of CWD stocks and characteristics in the Qinling Mountains. We measured the CWD stocks in different CWD types, decay classes and diameter classes of the five forest types in the Qinling Mountains. The highest biomass of CWD was ...
متن کاملForest Dynamics and Their Phenological Response to Climate Warming in the Khingan Mountains, Northeastern China
The Khingan Mountain region, the most important and typical natural foci of tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) in China, is the largest and northernmost forest area and the one more sensitive to climate change. Taking this region as the study area, we investigated the spatio-temporal dynamics of deciduous broadleaf forest (DBF) and its phenology changes in relation to climate change and elevation. B...
متن کاملModeling Forest Lightning Fire Occurrence in the Daxinganling Mountains of Northeastern China with MAXENT
Forest lightning fire is a recurrent and serious problem in the Daxinganling Mountains of northeastern China. Information on the spatial distribution of fire danger is needed to improve local fire prevention actions. The Maxent (Maximun Entropy Models), which is prevalent in modeling habitat distribution, was used to predict the possibility of lightning fire occurrence in a 1 × 1 km grid based ...
