Emission Reduction and Performance Enhancement of CI Engine Propelled by Neem Biodiesel-Neem Oil-Decanol-Diesel Blends at High Injection Pressure

Diesel emissions have resulted in air pollution, which is harmful to the sustaining of life. The concerns energy security and poor quality propelled researchers seek alternate environment-friendly fuels for transport sector, keeping diesel engines at core. Thus, a quaternary blend (diesel-biodiesel-vegetable oil-alcohol) proves be promising key address above problems. This experimental work focuses aims on investigating performance engine powered with blends by changing fuel injection pressure. comprised diesel, neem biodiesel, pure oil, decanol was used prepare varied volumetric proportions. study involves testing pressure (IP) ranging from 400–500 bar. load 10 Nm 20 Nm, shaft speed constant 2000 rpm. It evident outcomes that least DBODec45 minimum carbon monoxide (CO) un-burnt hydrocarbon (UHC) emissions, were obtained 83.33% 54.5% less than 500 bar respectively.
