Emerging frontiers of cell-free DNA fragmentomics

چکیده
Analysis of cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in the blood has shown promise for monitoring a variety biological processes. Plasma cfDNA is mixture comprising molecules released from various bodily tissues, mediated by characteristic fragmentations occurring during cell death. Fragmentation non-random and contains tissue-of-origin information, which been demonstrated circulating fetal, tumoral, transplanted organ-derived molecules. Many studies have elucidated plurality fragmentomic markers noninvasive prenatal, cancer, organ transplantation assessment, such as fragment sizes, ends, end motifs, nucleosome footprints. Recently, researchers further revealed large population previously unidentified long (kilobases size) plasma pool. This review focuses on emerging properties cfDNA, together with discussion its potential clinical implications.

متن کاملEmerging Frontiers in Therapeutics of Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma: Epigenetics and B Cell Receptor Signaling
This review discusses the impact of gene expression profiling and sequencing discoveries on new therapeutic strategies in Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas, particularly Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma. Alterations in oncogenes, over-active signaling pathways down-stream of the B cell receptor, and epigenetic gene mutations will be described. We will also review new targeting strategies aimed at each of thes...
متن کاملIntroducing a New and Simple Protocol for Capillary Electrophoresis of Cell Free Fetal Double Stranded DNA
Isolation of cell free fetal DNA (cffDNA) from maternal serum usually leads to very low concentrations of DNA impeding further resolving through conventional methods of electrophoresis. Although several protocols have been described for capillary electrophoresis (CE) of double stranded DNA, they usually need using special polymers or coated capillaries which degrade over time. Herein, we propos...
