Electroweak radiative corrections in precision LHC measurements of W±/Z0+jets

We calculate the fiducial and differential W±/Z0+jet(s) production cross-sections in presence of electroweak (EW) corrections through virtual loop contributions to matrix elements (MEs) processes real partonic cascade emissions. The calculations are carried out for proton-proton collisions at s=13 TeV, using Herwig 7 general-purpose Monte-Carlo event generator with leading-order or next-to-leading-order MEs that interfaced different parton-shower configurations. results compared precision experimental measurements from ATLAS collaboration similar predictions within kt-factorisation framework, providing a test validity newly-implemented QCD⊕QED⊕EW parton shower 7. It is shown inclusion EW radiations simulations improves 7's describing data. Additionally, shower-induced emissions can take precedence over incorporation simulation EW-sensitive events.
