چکیده
Electrospun fibers have high structural similarity to the extracellular matrix. Some researchers tried fabricate cellulose nanofibers using electrospinning, although fabricated usually exhibited a non-uniform texture. Moreover, mats always suffer from low biological and mechanical properties. Thus, objective of this study was first produce naturally occurring banana pseudo-stem. The native then used electrospin in order determine how Taguchi L9 orthogonal array can be defect-free fibrous mat. Finally, incorporated with hydroxyapatite (HA) nanoparticles generate new construct which provides suitable environment for cell attachment HA act as strong filler increasing results revealed that concentration solution applied voltage had greatest effect on morphology fibers. morphological characterization nanocomposites showed they uniform nanofibrous texture without any significant bead, splashing or particle agglomeration. According tests, samples containing higher significantly strength. obtained bioactivity analysis indicated an interesting transformation into flake-like structure confirmed scaffolds. vitro studies pronounced increase proliferation bone cells cellulose/HA compared neat cellulose. Given strength activity, scaffold promising regeneration applications.

Fabrication of Porous Hydroxyapatite-Gelatin Composite Scaffolds for Bone Tissue Engineering
Background: engineering new bone tissue with cells and a synthetic extracellular matrix represents a new approach for the regeneration of mineralized tissues compared with the transplantation of bone (autografts or allografts). Methods: in this study, to mimic the mineral and organic component of natural bone, hydroxapatite (HA) and gelatin (GEL) composite scaffolds were prepared. The raw mater...
متن کاملFabrication of Porous Hydroxyapatite-Gelatin Scaffolds Crosslinked by Glutaraldehyde for Bone Tissue Engineering
In this study, to mimic the mineral and organic components of natural bone, hydroxyapatite[HA] and gelatin[GEL] composite scaffolds were prepared using the solvent-casting method combined with a freeze drying process. Glutaraldehyde[GA] was used as a cross linking agent and sodium bisulfite was used as an excess GA discharger. Using this technique, it is possible to produce scaffolds with mecha...
متن کاملPoly(lactide-co-glycolide)/hydroxyapatite nanofibrous scaffolds fabricated by electrospinning for bone tissue engineering.
Poly(lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanofibrous composite scaffolds having nano-hydroxyapatite particles (HAp) in the fibers were prepared by electrospinning of PLGA and HAp with an average diameter of 266.6 ± 7.3 nm. Microscopy and spectroscopy characterizations confirmed integration of the crystalline HAp in the scaffolds. Agglomerates gradually appeared and increased on the fiber surface along...
متن کاملFreeze casting of hydroxyapatite scaffolds for bone tissue engineering.
Although extensive efforts have been put into the development of porous scaffolds for bone regeneration, with encouraging results, all porous materials have a common limitation: the inherent lack of strength associated with porosity. Hence, the development of porous hydroxyapatite scaffolds has been hindered to non-load bearing applications. We report here how freeze casting can be applied to s...
متن کاملAligned and random nanofibrous nanocomposite scaffolds for bone tissue engineering
Aligned and random nanocomposite nanofibrous scaffolds were electrospun from polycaprolactone (PCL), poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and hydroxyapatite nanoparticles (nHA). The morphology and mechanical characteristics of the nanofibers were evaluated using scanning electron microscopy and tensile testing, respectively. Scanning electron microscopy revealed fibers with an average diameter of 123 ± 3...
