چکیده
Context. Recent studies of the solar wind sunward 0.25 AU reveal that it contains quiescent regions, with low-amplitude plasma and magnetic field fluctuations, a direction similar to Parker spiral. The regions are thought have more direct connection corona than other types wind, suggesting waves or instabilities in indicative early evolution as escapes corona. highly unstable formation near electron cyclotron frequency ( f ce ). Generation of Electron Plasma Waves in the Upstream Solar Wind
Electron plasma waves with amplitudes as high as 10 mV/m have been measured in the electron foreshock region of the earth's bow shock. It is shown that a population of stable suprathermal electrons of the type observed can produce the measured level of enhanced fluctuations without becoming unstable. The steady state wave level is given by the balancing between emission and absorption. The appa...

متن کاملEvolution of Near-Sun Solar Wind Turbulence
This paper presents a preliminary analysis of the turbulence spectrum of the solar wind in the near-Sun region R < 50R⊙, obtained from interplanetary scintillation measurements with the Ooty Radio Telescope at 327 MHz. The results clearly show that the scintillation is dominated by density irregularities of size about 100 − 500 km. The scintillation at the small-scale side of the spectrum, alth...
متن کاملLinear and Nonlinear Dust Acoustic Waves in Quantum Dusty Electron-Positron-Ion Plasma
The behavior of linear and nonlinear dust acoustic waves (DAWs) in an unmagnetized plasma including inertialess electrons and positrons, ions, and mobile positive/negative dust grains are studied. Reductive perturbation method is employed for small and finite amplitude DAWs. To investigate the solitary waves, the Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equation is derived and the solution is presented. B...
