Electrohydrodynamic instabilities in freely suspended viscous films under normal electric fields

چکیده

We study electrohydrodynamic instabilities in a freely suspended liquid film subject to normal electric field. The behavior of the system is characterized as function relevant dimensionless groups during linear and nonlinear regimes growth. demonstrate how coupling flow surface charge transport different modes instability can give rise manifold phenomena such tip streaming or pinching into droplets.
