چکیده

In this work, two different 2D materials, molybdenum disulfide nanoplatelets (MSNP) and graphene (GNP), prepared by electrochemical exfoliation, were used as additives to prepare nanolubricants. The tribological behaviour of the nanolubricants was evaluated under configurations (pure sliding rolling/sliding) using tribometers: an Universal Macro Materials Tester (UMT-3) a Mini Traction Machine (MTM2). Wear volume determined, after tests, in confocal microscope (Leica DCM 3D) worn surface analyzed Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) Raman microscopy. Lubrication mechanisms GNP MSNP dispersed engine oil for improving its antifriction antiwear capabilities are proposed. traction coefficient determination performed at 50% slide-to-roll ratio temperatures. results showed that formulated with both types additives, their lowest concentration, improved friction wear compared neat oil. addition, only nano additive loadings 0.05 0.2 wt% reductions commercial rolling/sliding tests.

Nitroaromatic explosives detection using electrochemically exfoliated graphene

Detection of nitroaromatic explosives is of paramount importance from security point of view. Graphene sheets obtained from the electrochemical anodic exfoliation of graphite foil in different electrolytes (LiClO4 and Na2SO4) were compared and tested as electrode material for the electrochemical detection of 2,4-dinitrotoluene (DNT) and 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene (TNT) in seawater. Voltammetry analy...

Capacitance Properties of Electrochemically Synthesised Polybithiophene-Graphene Exfoliated Composite Films

The graphene (GR) has attracted intensive interest due to its two-dimensional and unique physical properties. In the present study, the graphene sheets were synthesized by electrochemical exfoliation of graphite in sulfuric acid solution. The polybithiophene-graphene (PbTh-GR) composite films deposited onto indium tin oxide substrate (ITO/PbTh-GR) have been prepared by the incorporation of ...

Electrochemically exfoliated graphene as solution-processable, highly conductive electrodes for organic electronics.

Solution-processable thin layer graphene is an intriguing nanomaterial with tremendous potential for electronic applications. In this work, we demonstrate that electrochemical exfoliation of graphite furnishes graphene sheets of high quality. The electrochemically exfoliated graphene (EG) contains a high yield (>80%) of one- to three-layer graphene flakes with high C/O ratio of 12.3 and low she...
