چکیده

The development of wearable technology has promoted the research new power supply sources to feed devices without need batteries. Wearable thermoelectric generators (wTEGs) can generate energy using thermal gradient between human body and ambient temperature. most comfortable way adapt wTEGs is by textiles, which are flexible breathable. In this work, we have developed a method coat textiles with conductive polymers electrodeposition on fabrics previously coated multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT). results show that polyaniline: sulfuric acid (PANI:H2SO4) present very low stability, variation electrical conductivity under stress not suitable for their use in smart textiles. However, poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene: perchlorate) (PEDOT:ClO4) polypyrrole: perchlorate (PPy:ClO4) good positive evolution as function twist angle, bending cycles, radius, demostrating potential practical applications electrochemical deposition.

Electrochemical deposition of conductive and adhesive polypyrrole-dopamine films

Electrode surfaces have been widely modified with electrically conductive polymers, including polypyrrole (PPY), to improve the performance of electrodes. To utilize conductive polymers for electrode modification, strong adhesion between the polymer films and electrode substrates should be ensured with high electrical/electrochemical activities. In this study, PPY films were electrochemically p...

Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy for Electro-Mechanical Characterization of Conductive Fabrics

When we use a conductive fabric as a pressure sensor, it is necessary to quantitatively understand its electromechanical property related with the applied pressure. We investigated electromechanical properties of three different conductive fabrics using the electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). We found that their electrical impedance spectra depend not only on the electrical properties of t...

Conductive Polymers: Electroplating of Organic Films

Electron-conductive polymers were first reported in 1971 by Shirakawa and co-workers [1]. They synthesized conducting polyacetylene and found that it had a considerably high conductivity relative to other organic compounds, 10 S cm 1 [1–3]. Since 1971, various conducting polymers and their synthesis mechanisms have been studied actively by many researchers [4]. The conductivities of these polym...
