چکیده
We present herein the very first amperometric biosensor for quantitative determination of glycine in diverse biological fluids. The is based on a novel quinoprotein that catalyzes oxidation with high specificity. This process coupled to redox conversion Prussian blue presence hydrogen peroxide originating from enzymatic reaction. optimized tailoring design consists effective encapsulation chitosan matrix posterior addition an outer Nafion layer, which here demonstrated suppress interference. particularly important case ascorbic acid, known influence behavior blue. analytical performance demonstrates fast response time (<7 s), acceptable reversibility, reproducibility, and stability (<6% variation) as well wide linear range (25–500 ?M) covers healthy (and even most unhealthy) physiological levels blood/serum, urine sweat. A total 6 real samples patients animals were analyzed: two serum, sweat samples. results validated via commercially available fluorescence kit, displaying discrepancy less than 9% all unique features effortless preparation new position it at forefront current technologies towards decentralized clinical applications sport monitoring.

Electrochemical detection of nitric oxide in biological fluids.
The challenges that must be overcome in order to detect nitric oxide (NO) in biological fluids include its low physiological concentration (1-nM) and its short half-life (a few seconds or less). Electrochemistry is capable of making such measurements, if certain principles, both biological and electrochemical, are kept in mind. We discuss these principles and demonstrate an example of practical...

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) can be used to develop reaction beaker which acts as electrochemical cell for the measurement of OP pesticides. Being chemically inert, corrosion resistant, and easy in molding to various shapes and size, PVC can be used for the immobilization of enzyme. Organophosphorus hydrolase was immobilized covalently onto the chemically activated inner surface of PVC beaker by us...
متن کاملAptamer-based electrochemical biosensor for interferon gamma detection.
In this paper, we describe the development of an electrochemical DNA aptamer-based biosensor for detection of interferon (IFN)-γ. A DNA hairpin containing IFN-γ-binding aptamer was thiolated, conjugated with methylene blue (MB) redox tag, and immobilized on a gold electrode by self-assembly. Binding of IFN-γ caused the aptamer hairpin to unfold, pushing MB redox molecules away from the electrod...
