Electrochemical Analysis of MnO2 (α, β, and γ)-Based Electrode for High-Performance Supercapacitor Application

MnO2 is the most favorable material in power storage due to its technological significance and potential applications pseudocapacitance (due various oxidative states allowing efficient charge transfer meet energy demands), where properties are considerably influenced by structure surface morphology. In present study, a facile hydrothermal route was used produce different phases of (α, β, γ) with morphologies. The electrochemical performance synthesized studied aqueous sodium sulfate as an electrolyte. X-ray diffraction, UV–Vis spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy were characterize material. morphology topography examined using field-emission scanning electron microscopy. direct band gap α-, β-, γ-MnO2 found be 1.86 eV, 1.08 1.68 lying semiconducting range, further enhancing performance. It that α-MnO2 had maximum specific capacitance 138 F/g at 1 A/g, symmetric device fabricated 86 A/g.
