Electrical Discharge Machining of Super Alloys: A Review

چکیده
Abstract In the current scenario, manufacturing industries faces difficulties during machining of engineering materials-metal based, having higher mechanical properties viz. strength, toughness and hardness through conventional methods. These problems include rapid tool wear, poor surface quality work piece material lower stock removal rate. EDM is a single prominent what more lucrative unconventional procedure is, finding its prevalent functions in motorized aerospace for harder materials that super alloys. Super alloys are heat-resistant category metals maintaining their elevated potency at superior temperature. The present paper focuses on past done by researchers titanium, nickel cobalt using Wire process.
