Electric Bus Charging Scheduling Strategy with Stochastic Arrival Time and State of Charge

To alleviate the range anxiety of drivers and time-consuming charging for electric buses (eBuses), opportunity fast-charging has gradually been utilized. Considering that eBuses have operational tasks, identifying an optimal scheduling will be needed. However, in real world, arrival time state charge (SOC) are uncertain. Therefore, it is challenging station to efficiently schedule tasks. solve problem, this paper develops a two-stage stochastic eBus model. In first stage, assigned designated chargers. After SOC realized, second stage determines sequence on each charger. The objective minimize penalty cost tardiness by determining start corresponding duration time. Then, sample average approximation (SAA) algorithm applied. Additional numerical experiments performed verify efficiency programming model algorithm.
