ELE GELMEYEN TESTİSTE LAPAROSKOPİ DENEYİMİMİZ

Aim: To demonstrate the superiority of laparoscopic undescended testicular surgery for non-palpable testicles in children diagnosis and treatment.Methods: The files patients between age 6 months 18 years who underwent testis investigation due to our clinic, January 2010 September 2021, were reviewed retrospectively. Patients with palpable disorders sex development examination performed under general anaesthesia excluded from study.Results: Fifty-three included study. mean is 3.2 (min: 8 months-max 17 years). Laparoscopic intervention was a total 59 which left-sided 54.7% (n=29) patients, right-sided 34% (n=18), bilateral 11.3% (n=6). Throughout these testicles, cords vessels 31 visualized entering inguinal canal, atrophic testes abdomen detected 7 cord had an intraabdominal blind ending (vanishing testis) 14 normal aspect.Conclusion: Simultaneous orchiectomy case exploration testicles. It allows ligation farther than 2 cm away that are closer it grants be released more precise vision thereby protecting complications conventional surgery.
