EIPPM—The Executable Integrative Product-Production Model

In this paper, a combination of graph-based design and simulation-based engineering (SBE) into new concept called Executable Integrative Product-Production Model (EIPPM) is elaborated. Today, the first collaborative process in for all mechatronic disciplines virtual commissioning phase. The authors see hitherto untapped potential earlier, integrated iterative use SBE development production systems (PS). Seamless generation exchange between Model-, Software- Hardware-in-the-Loop simulations necessary. Feedback from simulation results will go decisions after each iteration. presented approach combines knowledge domain “PSs” together with corresponding “product” using so Graph-based Design Language (GBDL). Its central data model, which represents entire life cycle product PS, an automatic translation step compiler.
