It was proven recently that JT gravity can be defined as an ensemble of L x Hermitian matrices. We point out the eigenvalues matrix correspond in to FZZT-type boundaries on which spacetimes end. then investigate matrices with 1<<N<<L held fixed. This corresponds a version includes N FZZT type path integral contour and is found emulate discrete quantum chaotic system. In particular this capture behavior finite-volume holographic correlators at late times, including erratic oscillations.
