We consider applications involving a large set of instances projecting points to polytopes. develop an intuition guided by theoretical and empirical analysis show that when these follow certain structures, majority the projections lie on vertices To do efficiently we derive vertex-oriented incremental algorithm project point onto any arbitrary polytope, as well give specific algorithms cater simplex projection polytopes where unit box is cut planes. Such settings are especially useful in web-scale such optimal matching or allocation problems. Several problems internet marketplaces (e-commerce, ride-sharing, food delivery, professional services, advertising, etc.), can be formulated Linear Programs (LP) with polytope constraints require step overall optimization process. some very recent works, polytopic most expensive our efficient help gaining massive improvements performance.
