Efficient removal of sulfamethazine by a magnetic recoverable CeO2/Fe3O4/natural zeolite catalyst in catalytic ozonation process

In order to realize the efficient removal of sulfamethazine (SMZ) and overcome recycling difficulty catalysts in a heterogeneous catalytic ozonation process, low-cost natural zeolite loaded with CeO 2 Fe 3 O 4 (FC/HZ) was synthesized by co-precipitation method. The FC/HZ catalyst could completely degrade SMZ 39.6% TOC through ozonation. Moreover, exhibited high activity under wide pH range possessed excellent recyclability (>90%) stability magnet. Based on experiment material characterization, possible mechanism degradation pathway revealed. brief, this study offered an effective strategy for preparing recyclable eliminating aqueous solution.
