چکیده

The article considers the danger of torsional vibrations in ship power plants, which is recognized by leading specialists shipbuilding, engine-building and repair industries supervisory authorities – Russian Maritime Register Shipping (RMRS), River (RRR), as well foreign classification societies. There are a number factors that can lead to serious accidents due vibrations, therefore, dampers (liquid or mechanical) installed on crankshafts marine engines reduce oscillation amplitudes tangential twisting stresses shafts flexible elements coupling couplings engine-propulsion complex. Since warranty period 30,000 hours, shipowners need make periodic measurements (on average, after 15,000 hours) using torsiography method, upon results an approximate residual life established until next check. A special feature operation mechanical diesel lack methods approved RMRS RRR for non-selective assessment dampers, fact previously were not used so widely diesels. have been analyzed criteria affect performance vibration be development method diagnostics assignment internal combustion engines.

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

Transient combustion control of internal combustion engines

This thesis addresses the problem of combustion control for automotive engines. A method is proposed to complement existing controllers, which use lookup tables based on steady-state operation. During transients, the new control method adjusts fast control variables (ignition or injection time) to compensate for deviations in the cylinder initial conditions from their optimal values due to the ...
