Efficiency Improvement for Wireless Power Transfer System via a Nonlinear Resistance Matching Network

The primary control is widely adopted to obtain a constant voltage output under wider load range. However, for traditional full-bridge inverters phase-shift control, due the loss of soft switching, system transmission efficiency will decrease rapidly. This problem can be improved by using half-bridge inverter; however, power transferred receiving devices utilizing inverter inadequate small dc value. To solve these urge issues, resistance matching network (RMN), constructed resonant inductor and capacitor, added before full bridge rectifier part this paper. Owing nonlinear conversion characteristics proposed RMN structure, variation range equivalent AC impedance end compressed into an optimum enhance poor during coils part. Simultaneously, when DC small, capability whole enhanced increasing ac value; as result, insufficient relieved. Finally, 36 V WPT based on phase shift constructed. Additionally, experimental results prove feasibility theoretical analysis results.
