Efficiency enhancement of a solar dish collector operating with a novel soybean oil-based-MXene nanofluid and different cavity receivers

The objective of the present research work is to investigate a novel high-efficiency nanofluid in solar dish concentrator by using numerical model developed. working fluids examined consisted soybean oil-based MXene different concentrations (i.e. 0.025, 0.075 and 0.125 wt%) pure oil. studied nanofluids yielded excellent thermal properties such as high conductivity heat capacity, which were two particular factors rendering them candidates for applications. collector was evaluated three cavity receivers including cubical, hemispherical cylindrical shapes. Then, analysis performed with developed steady-state conditions, validated experimental results. Meanwhile, described after experiments. parametric nature, thereby studying system performance on daily basis. According analysis, receiver led maximum efficiency used. In particular, mean 82.66% equivalent 82.46% achieved, while enhancement 0.6%. However, enhancements higher use other cavities due losses shown cases. Moreover, proved that increased pumping could not overcome enhancement, improving overall collector.
